I design interactive products that align user needs with business goals. My process turns user insights into clear, buildable solutions that improve engagement and efficiency.
Kope House
Kope House is a San Francisco based coffee company. I designed and built a robust, scalable design system in Figma that focused on components, typography, color, and interaction patterns. I then applied the design system to app prototypes to explore a cohesive product experience across key user flows.
I worked on a self-directed project with critique and feedback sessions from Rivian designers. My aim was to redesign the navigation and infotainment experience with a strong focus on safety. I sought to reduce distractions so that drivers can respond faster in critical moments.
Sleeper is a fantasy sports platform where Dynasty players make high-stakes decisions every week. I explored how the iOS app could better support users who want to trade manage their rosters.

Mochi Health
Mochi Health is a wellness platform focused on long-term behavioral change in users. As part of a take-home design challenge, I explored how a weight tracker could help users stay motivated through clear progress visualization, lightweight logging, and engagement mechanics like streaks and milestones. This sprint was conducted within a three-day timeframe.
SnowLabs is an experimental desktop experience that helps new snowboarders plan trips with confidence. This trip planning experience lets new ski/snowboarders experience upcoming weather conditions, trail difficulties, and how icey or powdery the snow is before their visit.

I'm Evan, a product designer who aligns user needs and business goals. With experience in interaction design, I help companies reduce friction, boost engagement, and ship products that solve real problems.
Ever since I was young, I’ve loved creating things. I built public Minecraft server maps and resource packs. That same creative drive led me to product design, where I create intuitive experiences for users. My passion for learning, creating, and solving problems still drives me today. I excel at turning complex challenges into simple, engaging experiences.
Let's connect if you need a designer who thinks strategically, communicates clearly, and delivers practical solutions.
I work best in messy, unclear problems where the solution isn’t obvious yet. I use UX research to discover what truly matters instead of relying on assumptions. Then I turn those insights into clear product direction.
I care about both structure and detail. I focus on how information is organized, how interfaces feel, and how small choices like spacing, hierarchy, and typography shape the final design. I also focus on execution, making sure my designs are practical to build and work well in real use cases.
When collaborating, I adapt quickly to new team processes and tools. I make design decisions that are clear, easy to build, and aligned with real business goals.
I communicate clearly and proactively with PMs, engineers, and other designers. I share ideas early, even when they are rough. This leads to better feedback and alignment throughout the process instead of only at the end. I keep the team informed on progress, key decisions, and any risks or problems.
I make design files easy to understand. I use clear structure, annotations, and follow design systems strictly with variables and variants. This creates easier implementation for my engineers who need to adjust typography, colors, and components.
A core part of my process is thinking through problems and technical constraints early. I also maintain clear communication with engineers when they implement my designs. This helps the team move faster with fewer surprises and less rework.
